The information was there. The relationships were missing.
Todo apps were good at rows. Notes apps were good at pages. Whiteboards were good at brainstorming. But the important relationships kept living in memory.
StarLinker started as a way to put those relationships somewhere visible enough to use.

The relationship layer was living in memory.
I could write things down. The hard part was returning later and remembering why they mattered, what they depended on, and where the missing context lived.
Lists kept the items, but I was still rebuilding the situation in my head. StarLinker grew from the idea that the structure around the work deserves to be saved too.

Principles
Three constraints, not a feature checklist.
Visual structure has to earn its place.
The map is useful when it makes relationships, priorities, and next actions easier to understand. It should never be decoration for its own sake.
The system should bend around the person.
People switch contexts, return to half-finished ideas, plan imperfectly, and work across different parts of life. The product should support that reality instead of forcing one rigid workflow.
Try it on something you already care about.
A work project, a personal plan, research, or anything with enough moving pieces that a list stops telling the whole story.
